Egypt Entry Rules for CIS and Syrian Citizens: Important Updates

IMPORTANT INFORMATION


According to new regulations, citizens of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan may enter Egypt unaccompanied from the age of 22. Until this age, they must be accompanied by their parents.


If guests have different surnames, a birth certificate is required.Citizens of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan arriving in Egypt without a full tour package (airfare only) must obtain a visa in advance at the Egyptian embassy in their country and a permit from the National Security Service.

Before booking a tour to Egypt for NON-RESIDENTS of Kazakhstan, we recommend confirming hotel prices with the manager, as additional hotel fees may apply.

Citizens of Syria are not permitted to enter Egypt unless they have a temporary residence permit. They are also not permitted for tourism purposes.
